Be Careful Little Eyes What You See Part 2

"Slow Fade" by Casting Crowns

Be careful little eyes what you see
It's the second glance that ties your hands as darkness pulls the strings
Be careful little feet where you go
For it's the little feet behind you that are sure to follow

It's a slow fade when you give yourself away
It's a slow fade when black and white have turned to gray
Thoughts invade, choices are made, a price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day
It's a slow fade, it's a slow fade

Be careful little ears what you hear
When flattery leads to compromise, the end is always near
Be careful little lips what you say
For empty words and promises lead broken hearts astray

It's a slow fade when you give yourself away
It's a slow fade when black and white have turned to gray
Thoughts invade, choices are made, a price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day

The journey from your mind to your hands
Is shorter than you're thinking
Be careful if you think you stand
You just might be sinking

It's a slow fade when you give yourself away
It's a slow fade when black and white have turned to gray
Thoughts invade, choices are made, a price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day
Daddies never crumble in a day
Families never crumble in a day

Oh be careful little eyes what see
Oh be careful little eyes what you see
For the Father up above is looking down in love
Oh be careful little eyes what you see

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.  PROVERBS 4:23

I just thought I would share my devotion with everyone.  Not long after Tanner's Jenny McCarthy comments I heard this song and found this verse.  It just reminded me that God has made Chris and I responsible for guarding our children's hearts which in today's world can be very difficult.

Be Careful Little Eyes What You See

Jenny McCarthy
TANNER: "Mom...that girl not got much clothes on!"
ME: "She's wearing a bikini Tanner."
TANNER:  "You wear kini's under your clothes Mom."
ME:  "Yes...and that's probably the only place I'll ever wear them again sweetie!"

A WORDLE ABOUT BOYS

Today I read this list: 25 Things I Learned About Being a Mom of Boys and it inspired me to create this wordle about my boys!

SUGAR SHACK

It took Tanner over 30 minutes(10 of which Sam was not happy) to decide which candy to get at the Sugar Shack in Rosemary Beach, FL.  Tanner was sooo exhausted he had to "just lay down and take a rest" in order to muster up enough energy to eat his lollipop!!

What you can't see in this picture:
-It's 8:30...well after Memphis bedtime!
-There was lots of jumping on the bed before he fell asleep!
