Sitting Up, Crawling, Standing

So I forgot to do a 6 month post for Sam but here's an update:

About three weeks ago all within a few days Sam: sat up by himself, is crawling (and he can go eveywhere), and starting pulling up on the furniture and in his bed! Whew! It was a CRAZY week...but he is so proud of himself. He is every bit as BUSY as Tanner was...I can't believe it!

Dirt: Inside and Outside

Sensory Days...Tanner loves dirt, mud well anything messy. This is potting soil with tiny animals hidden in it...he used his diggers and excavators to find them. It really wasn't that messy so we brought it in the next day. He loved that he was playing with dirt in the house.

Tanner: My Big Helper

Tanner is such a big helper...and let's face I will take help any way I can get it!

The boys could play outside all day in this weather!

Sam's favorite ride...with chauffeur Tanner!

Tanner loves helping at bathtime..."no shirt" he says because Sam is a SUPER SPLASHER!

I love when I walk out of the room and come back to Tanner and Sam playing!!!

School at Home

Tanner has been BEGGING to do school at home. I feel like I am teaching again but he loves it! I just get the activities together at night and put them out for him. If he wants to do them GREAT if not no big deal! Here are a few of the things we have been doing:

(I can't believe he is starting to read.)

(He loves anything with glue)

Nowhere to Be

We LOVE days with nothing to do. Sam and Tanner really play well together...yes I am really loving watching Tanner, my wild child, want to play with Sam.

TRICK OR TREAT

TRICK OR TREATING WAS SO MUCH FUN THIS YEAR WITH TANNER...HE WAS ALL ABOUT SPEED...HE CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD THE MORE HOUSES YOU GO TO THE MORE CANDY YOU GET!

HIS BEST FRIENDS OWEN AND MARI LAMPTON CAME TRICK OR TREATING WITH US! WE HAD TO PRACTICE TAKING TURNS KNOCKING!!!

AND I THINK THE PICTURES SAY IT ALL FOR OUR CUTE "LITTLE PUNKIN"...ISN'T HE PRECIOUS! WE THINK SO!

Where did October go?

We had such a busy October... Chris' birthday, my parents birthdays, parties, football and lots of crafts!

Ghosts, Spiders, Mummy Fingers and Jack-o-Lanterns

Tanner hid some candy corn under his pillow after I told him he had eaten enough!

Tanner's friend Lucas had his party at Pump It Up...It was Chris' first time to go...he was like a kid!

We have watched the Alabama and Tigers game every Saturday!

I couldn't find matching jammies that weren't scary...but these were pretty cute!

Cutest shirt Bumble Tees has ever made...Tanner loved it! You'll probably see it on him even after October!
