last night...soo sad

On our last night, the boys played in this water fountain.  Of course Sam busted and I had to walk back to the house carrying a soaking wet, very heavy little boy but he needed his mama and I loved it!

Moonlight & Movies

On Thursday night, we went to watch Yogi Bear on the Western Green at Rosemary.  Chris and I were beat from a full day at the beach but Tanner had been talking about the movie ALL week so we caved and went.  It didn't start until 8:00 so I wasn't sure if the boys would last the whole movie.

Sam didn't make it...once he ate his popcorn...he was out!

Beachin' It!

We actually made it almost a whole day at the beach today.  We went down around 9 and didn't come back until 3.  This is a BIG deal when you have 2 little ones.  We usually have to split the day between the beach and pool.  The ocean was beautiful again so we spent most of the day in the water.

***So FUNNY...Tanner(in the ocean): "Ouch! My foot hurts!" Me: "Let me see your foot." He had a small sand crab biting his foot.  When he lifted his foot...there was a crab hanging from the bottom of his foot!  He got stung by a jellyfish the day before but nothing slows him down!

By the way...Do your kids have these beach shirts?
My parents bought them for the boys...they have been my SAVING GRACE for Sam.
He is so fair...and he burns really easily.
Laying out with Dad!
All of his pictures will have this UT orange monster float...this boy loves the water!
He is not afaid to run and jump in so the float is on at ALL TIMES!

Sam also gets hot...like his Big D so I pack washclothes on ice for him.
He likes them around his neck and on his head!
Talk about cabana service...all he's missing is a fruity drink

Tanner built elaborate sand castles...Sam dug a hole and filled it with water!
Then he spent 20 minutes jumping in it.
He also destroyed Tanner's castle...we had a little brawl on the beach!
Luckily everyone around us had kids so the judgement was minimal!

Making up over some grapes and goldfish!
We also saw about 10 DOLPHINS swimming and jumping...very exciting for the boys!

Can we say "sugar high"?

Why is it that we say "YES" to sooo many things on vacation that we say "NO" to at home?  It could be that the "Sugar Shak" is strategically located so that we pass it frequently or it could be that sometimes it's nice to not be the "Queen of Rules" and let the boys just enjoy! Needless to say...you can tell from the pictures this place is heaven for little boys and daddies! Sam walked right in grabbed a big lollipop and said "go pay daddy"!  Tanner took forever to choose the perfect piece of candy but the great thing about vacation is we have nowhere to be!

After all of this sugar...we need to burn some major "sugar energy" off!  As you can see, riding bikes is the choosen method of transportation at the beach!

burning calories before donuts

This morning we rode our bikes down to Aly's Beach for some donuts.  There were only 3 sprinkle donuts left when we got into the line luckily 2 were left when it was our turn to order!

I wish I had audio on these pictures!  Sam was letting out lots of "ummm", "yummy" and "mmm's" while he was eating his donuts!  So funny...both of my kids sing and hum and hum when they are eating good foods!
